Cindy Geist is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Her counseling journey started in education, where she was a high school teacher for several years before she got her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Fort Hays State University.  She did some school counseling along with teaching, and also worked for a child advocacy center in western Kansas. Cindy has facilitated a grief group for over four years and has experience in counseling for grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, Christian issues, women’s issues, and life issues. She works with a range of clients, ages seven and up. She believes that sometimes we just need someone with whom to talk, to share, and to trust with our “stuff”.  She believes it is worth working towards being emotionally, physically, and mentally healthy and enjoys talking with, listening to, and helping others to help themselves.
